Receptionist/Support Position

Located: Cromwell

Are you enthusiastic, attentive and a quick learner? Are you good at building relationships, have great time management and also want to work with an awesome team of people? We have the opportunity for you!

Your focus will be to provide exceptional front of house service to our clients and provide a link between our clients and veterinary teams.

The successful candidate will work 30 hours per week (7:30am – 2:00pm) and will be flexible to cover holidays and sick leave. A vet nursing qualification would also be an advantage.

Part-Time Clinic Coordinator

Located: Leeston

We are looking for an energetic Clinic Coordinator to manage our veterinary clinic in Leeston.  They will work 32 hours per week on the below work pattern:

4 days - 8:00am – 2:00pm (30 minutes lunch break)

1 day - 8:00am – 7:00pm (1-hour lunch break)

This role coordinates our large and small animal veterinary work, nurse support and customer service. The ideal candidate will have a strong affinity with the agricultural sector, veterinary industry and in particular dairy but also includes beef, sheep and lifestyle clients. A veterinary nursing qualification would also been an advantage. Large animal client and product service skills are essential. A background or future interest in leadership and management is important.

To be successful in this role you will need to be a well-organised individual who copes well under pressure. You will also need to be an excellent multi-tasker with good time management and a customer service champion. You will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the clinic as well as head the responsibility of leading the team to deliver positive patient outcomes and exceed client expectations.

We are looking for someone who is a positive team player, has a sense of humour and is able to cope well in any situation.

Our ideal candidate will also possess the following attributes and skills:

- A minimum two years’ experience in a Veterinary Clinic or an Agricultural business

- Willingness to roll up your sleeves and get involved at all levels, with energy and drive

- Ability to successfully develop and train the team

- Facilitating regular clinic meetings

- Administrative reports and returns

- Daily, weekly and monthly staff rosters including leave and time sheet management

- Reception duties including answering phone calls, taking messages, serving and advising client

- Stock and inventory control including placing orders, stock monitoring and coordinating stock takes

- Daily mail and banking processing
