About the Role:

We're seeking an enthusiastic and experienced companion animal veterinarian to join our Darfield team. If you're someone who will pitch in to our team environment and support your colleagues, we well as provide knowledge and care for our client's pets, this couold be the role for you!

This part-time role (3 days per week, plus a rostered Saturday) is your chance to work with a fun and dedicated group of professionals who care about your development as they do about delivering exceptional care.

Our clinic is well equipped with access to the latest technology an equipment and our team beneift from our networks and support structures across New Zealand. We have excellent support staff, capable nurses, and great veterinarians who enjoy helping each other. Key Responsibilities:

• Provide exceptional veterinary care to our furry patients, ensuring their well-being and quality of life.
• Build strong relationships with clients, offering guidance and support in their animals' health journey.
• Collaborate with a skilled and compassionate team to deliver the highest standards of care.
• Pursue continuing education and stay current with the latest advancements in veterinary medicine.
• Contribute to a positive and collaborative workplace culture where every team member thrives.
• Grow your current skillset by learning from industry leaders.
• An in-house diagnostic suite incuding Ultrasound, Dental X-ray and Idexx in-house lab testing.
• Work with a nursing and support team who take standard of care to the next level!

What You’ll Bring:

We're looking for someone who's as passionate about animals as we are and brings:

• New Zealand Veterinary Council Registration and Annual Practicing Certificate (or equivalency enabling registration).
• A Bachelor of Veterinary Science with 5+ years of experience in Companion Animal Practice.
• A clinical skill set including surgery and consulting with an ability and willingness to undertake sole charge as and when required.
• A warm, approachable personality that makes both customers and colleagues feel valued and supported.
• Exceptional communication skills, ensuring smooth collaboration with your team and clarift for pet parents.
• A strong sense of compassion and empathy, treating every patient as if they were your own.'
• A team-first mindset, thriving in a collaborative environment where everyone supports each other.
• A passion for veterinary medicine and a commitment to providing the highest standards of care.
