Commercial Sales Advisor Job - Otago

 

Alexandra, Cromwell, Wanaka - Full time

We are seeking an experienced Commercial Sales Advisor to join our Otago team, based out of our Alexandra clinic but servicing Cromwell and Wanaka. This is a fulltime role that will provide services for primarily dairy focused including milking sheep/goats, sheep, beef and deer.

Reporting to the Lead Commercial Manager, this role complements our delivery of veterinary services by providing ethical product stewardship for commercial animal health remedies and provides strong technical product knowledge for farmers. You will have the ability to build trust and maintain strong client relationships as well as being able to meet sales targets.

The role would require knowledge and experience in the animal health and farming sector and someone who is a strong team player.  The role requires an in-clinic presence as well as farm visits. Ongoing CPD is provided to all of our staff to remain up to date with products and animal health developments.

Essential Requirements:

  • Experience in the rural industry with an ability to relate to farmers
  • Drive to help farmers and their business succeed
  • The ability to explain the features/benefits of technical products
  • Great communication skills
  • Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team
  • Knowledge of animal nutrition, animal health and pasture management would be an advantage for this role.
