COVID-19 Update

5th March 2022

In the current landscape of escalating COVID-19 cases each day, we want to reassure you that we are working hard to continue to provide the very best care to you and your animals.

Thank you for your patience

The veterinary industry continues to feel the widespread effects of the on-going COVID-19 pandemic.  For our VetEnt team, we ask for your ongoing support and patience as we navigate reduced staffing to meet mandatory self-isolation requirements. Border closures also continue to impact New Zealand’s nationwide shortage of vets, through limited recruitment opportunities.

As a result, waiting times for appointments maybe longer than usual and at times routine procedures may need to be rescheduled to ensure we can prioritise urgent or emergency care. We apologise in advance for this and thank you for your ongoing support and understanding, whilst we continue to do our best.

We would also appreciate the following support, to help us in providing our services:

  • Be kind to our team, they really do care and are doing their best
  • Wear your mask when entering our clinics
  • Scan our COVID-19 QR Code when entering our clinics
  • Maintain 1m social distancing whilst in-clinic and during on-farm services
  • Have your Vaccine Pass ready to enter Consult Rooms or the Hospital
  • Use contactless payment and signing of farm dockets, whenever possible
  • Pre-order products and repeat prescriptions by phoning us, ideally 48 hours in advance
  • Utilise our Click & Collect service for pet products, via

Please call us and let us know if you are feeling unwell, as we will work through alternative ways to make sure your animals get the care they need.

If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to call us, to check on the best arrangements for you and your animals, including consultations, product collections, and payment options.

Please continue to be kind to yourself and we look forward to seeing you at your next visit.

Yours faithfully,

Grant Blackler
