VetEnt Lincoln Vet Centre is on the outskirts of Lincoln which is located on the Canterbury Plains to the west of Banks Peninsula, 22 kilometres south of Christchurch. It is a mixed practice servicing dairy, beef, deer, sheep, lifestyle farms as well as companion animal clientele. Jason Leslie is the principal large animal veterinarian, assisted by Lynne Wilkins who also is a small animal vet. Also making up the team of companion animal vets is Andy Postles, Tracey Rozen and Eilish Densem.
The dedicated nursing staff of Kelly, Evelien and Anna ably assist the vets.
Services and areas of expertise offered by the large animal vets at Lincoln practice include:
- Dairy Reproduction Services – including 42 day pregnancy testing, accurate aging of pregnancies, analysis of results, investigation and resolution of problems, routine non cycler and synchronisation services
- Reproduction (male) – bull and ram testing
- Mastitis – including grade busting whole herd paddling
- Milk quality problem solving, cell count analysis, bacteriology, treatment recommendation and supply
